Working on your Relationships through Therapy

Navigating Relationships

Adulthood brings a wave of responsibilities, and with it, complex relationships. Whether it's family, friends, romantic partners, or colleagues, it can feel challenging to balance these connections while trying to figure out your own identity and life path. If you find you are in a time when relationships are shifting, evolving, and becoming sources of confusion or stress, you are not alone. We are not handed a guidebook when it comes to relationships and many American adults feel uncertain about how to build or maintain healthy connections.

But you don’t have to navigate this alone.

In therapy, we'll focus on the relational aspects of your life—whether it's improving communication, understanding your emotional needs, or healing from past hurts. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your connections, whether with yourself, romantic partners, friends, or family, by building a deeper understanding of who you are and what you truly need from these relationships.

My goal is to help you move from feeling stuck or disconnected to creating healthy, fulfilling relationships where you feel seen, heard, and supported. You’ll gain clarity about your boundaries, identify patterns that might be holding you back, and develop healthier ways to connect with others. Many of my clients report feeling more confident in their relationships, understanding their role in them, and learning how to navigate challenges with more ease and confidence after our work together.

Is relational work the right next step for you?
If you’re experiencing any of the following, therapy might be a helpful step:

  • Feeling stuck or misunderstood in your romantic relationship

  • Trying to find your person and build a healthy long-term marriage

  • Struggling with family dynamics or setting boundaries

  • Unsure about how to build lasting friendships or your community

  • Tired of repeating the same patterns in your relationships

  • Feeling overwhelmed by emotional needs that aren’t being met

  • Carrying past relational hurt that is impacting your present connections

If any of this resonates with you, it doesn’t have to stay that way. Let’s work together to create healthier, more fulfilling relationships in your life. We can do this work through individual therapy or through couples work for those wanting that. Reach out for a consultation or to schedule your first session today.
